Heal to Glow Up

My Journey of Healing and Transformation

Who I Am

I am Samira El Boussairi—a trilingual Moroccan woman navigating life through Arabic, French, and English. While Arabic roots me and French educated me, English became my private refuge. It guards my innermost thoughts, as neither my family nor most Moroccans understand it. In this language, I find freedom to express what my mother tongue cannot hold.

My Journey: Education & Career

My career path has been anything but linear—a tapestry of roles woven by both choice and necessity:

Professional Landscape:

  • Education: Diploma in International Commerce
  • Managed inventory in aeronautics
  • Organized finances as an administrative assistant
  • Served customers in call centers
  • Advised on cosmetics for a leading Moroccan brand
  • Built and managed e-commerce platforms
  • Mastered digital marketing and web development through self-study
  • Present: Crafting words as a blogger, SEO writer, and copywriter

Why "Heal to Glow Up" Exists

This blog is my metamorphosis—documented. These pages hold my dual role as both writer and reader, returning to my own words for solace. Every post is a lived lesson, a torch I light for others walking paths I've survived. What I once desperately needed, I now create: a compass for women finding their way through darkness.

My Rock Bottom and Rising

Before you mourn my past, know this: from negative ground, I've grown—flourishing in every aspect by grace. My present eclipses that history. But to appreciate the light, you must see how deep the shadows ran.

The Weight I Carried

Family & Loss

Childhood's joy fractured when adolescence brought storms...

Bodies archive what minds suppress (Mine had been screaming for years)

The Funeral That Fractured Me

At my father's burial, my dry eyes drew accusations: "Did you stop loving him?"...

Love & Relationships: The Caregiver Curse

My strength became a magnet for takers—partners and friends who drained my emotional reserves...

Breaking Point: When My Body Revolted

Physical Collapse

One morning, my reflection horrified me: swollen abdomen, clumps of hair lost, eyes shadowed...

The Awakening: Bottom as Foundation

Truths My Body Taught Me:

The remedy lives within the wound.

This isn't rebirth. It's returning home to myself.

Why Every Word Here Matters

When you read any article on this blog, know this: I don't write what I haven't lived, researched deeply...

  • My own struggles and healing (scars I've earned)
  • Countless hours of research
  • Stories shared by loyal readers
